M79 Balance Changes

Balance Philosophy

For every weapon between A and S tier, apply one nerf to one aspect of it so it's not completely dominant on the battlefield.

Proposed Changes

Each entry lists the move or ability affected, the adjustment itself, and — where the analysis states one — the problem it is meant to solve and the reasoning behind it.

1. Detonation Time

   Nerf

   Proposed adjustment

   Detonation time when hitting the ground from beyond 10m increased from 0 to 1 second.

   Current issue

   This has a very strong benefit of obstructing enemy vision almost instantly and creating multiple places to keep the player from landing an accurate shot.

   Reason

   The set-up should take longer to activate.
