Balance Analysis

Game Balance Analysis

Full-roster balance breakdowns for competitive games. Every entry lists the move or ability affected, the proposed adjustment, the issue it addresses, and the reasoning — so you can argue with the specifics instead of the vibes.

How These Breakdowns Work

Every game here is walked tier by tier. Low-tier entries are about giving a character more to work with; high-tier entries are about trimming the tools that make a character oppressive; mid-tier entries usually trade one of each. The aim is to pull a roster toward a single competitive tier without stripping out the things that make each character feel like themselves.

Each proposal is broken into the same structured fields — what is affected, which direction it moves, what is wrong with it today, and why the change helps. Where the original analysis is ambiguous, contradictory or incomplete, that is flagged on the page rather than quietly patched over.

Same Work, On Your Game

This is the same systems analysis GameMender runs on difficulty curves, XP pacing, economies and progression — applied to rosters instead of retention.
