M24 Balance Changes

Balance Philosophy

For every weapon between A and S tier, apply one nerf to one aspect of it so it's not completely dominant on the battlefield.

Proposed Changes

Each entry lists the move or ability affected, the adjustment itself, and — where the analysis states one — the problem it is meant to solve and the reasoning behind it.

1. Damage

   Nerf

   Proposed adjustment

   Damage reduced from 75 to 71.

   Current issue

   The M24 can deliver substantial damage at long range while maintaining a faster follow-up shot than some other bolt-action rifles.

   Reason

   Reducing its damage slightly creates more distinction between it and the highest-damage sniper rifles.
